What Pet Rafting in Brotas is like

Pet Rafting follows the same route as Mini Rafting: a 4 km stretch of the Jacaré Pepira River, with no drops, seven gentle rapids and great swimming spots. The route goes through preserved forest, where it is common to see monkeys, coatis and many birds.

Along the way, the boat makes short swimming stops. At these spots your pet can be let loose to play and swim freely. The tour ends in town, near Parque dos Saltos.

Safety for you and your pet

We use the same equipment as rafting: boat, life jacket, helmet and paddle. Your pet also wears a life jacket and stays on a leash while on the water. The whole descent is accompanied by specialized guides.

We keep a Safety Management System implemented in accordance with ABNT NBR ISO 21101.

Tour information

Route: 4 km on the Jacaré Pepira River, no drops
Duration: 1 h 30 min to 2 h, from leaving the agency until you return
Departure times: 10 am or 3 pm (arrive 20 minutes early)
Minimum age: 3 years
Maximum weight per person: 120 kg
Transport: leaves from our base, in downtown Brotas

What is included

Transport, life jacket, paddle, helmet, specialized guides, water, juice or a hot drink. All adventurers have individual Porto Seguro insurance (the insurance does not cover the pet).
