With a large green area and a short, easy trail to the Jacaré Pepira River, which runs along one side of the inn, the property has a preserved natural area and often receives welcome visits from many little animals such as toucans, macaws, marmosets, otters, coatis and small amphibians, as well as many birds and lizards.

There are 24 chalets: 8 for families of up to 6 people and 16 for couples, 8 of them with an indoor hot tub. All chalets at Pousada Mirágua Refúgios have a TV, minibar, air conditioning (no heating), hair dryer, bidet shower, decorative fireplace with scented candles, intercom and parking next to the chalets.

Pousada Mirágua Refúgios' leisure area has adult and children's pools, a sauna, heated outdoor hot tubs, a barbecue grill and a sand volleyball court. The games room has table football, pool, ping-pong and tables for cards, checkers and chess. From May to August the inn lights a bonfire on Fridays and Saturdays. The pool bar is open from 12 pm to 7 pm and serves snacks and sandwiches.

Pousada Mirágua Refúgios is downtown on one of the main streets of Brotas, three blocks from Parque dos Saltos, one of the most visited and beautiful sights in the adventure capital, and three blocks from Brotas Rafting.
