What to bring for rafting in Brotas: complete checklist
Going rafting in Brotas and don't know what to bring? We put together a simple checklist so you can enjoy the tour without worrying.
What to wear
- Light, comfortable clothes that can get wet, like sportswear. Swimwear underneath is a good idea.
- Shoes that won't come off your feet: sneakers or sports sandals. Avoid flip-flops and Crocs.
- On cold days, choose quick-drying fabrics.

What to bring
- Sunscreen (apply before leaving);
- Insect repellent;
- A change of clothes, T-shirt or towel (it stays in the vehicle);
- Regular medication, such as for asthma or diabetes.
At our base there are women's and men's changing rooms with hot showers and lockers with keys.
What to leave at home or at the agency
- Loose phones and cameras in the boat: we take photos of the descent for you;
- Jewelry, watches and glasses without a strap;
- Bags and items that could fall into the water.
